What is algae?

Algae is defined as an aquatic organism. Algae has no true roots, leaves, or stems, however it will remain and multiply on damp services. Commonly shown on your house, roof, or driveway as a green/black substance.

Why does my roof look green?

Statistically, one side of your roof will look better than the other. The side that receives less sun light will have long green/black streaks. This is algae building up on your shingles which will require a new roof sooner without removal.

Why is my deck slippery?

Algae growth and other forms of grease or dirt will overtime soak into your wood fibers. This will cause the wood to appear ruined and very slippery.

Why does my driveway look ruined?

If you notice black, gray, or green streaks on your sidewalks and driveway, that is going to be algae building up on the surface. It will ruin the appearance of your home and cause the surface to become slippery as well.
